2026 New EEM Formation

As father Alvin explained during the formation of the new Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist (EEM) held last Sunday, August 9, “You will be come non-ordained individual but authorized to assist in distributing the consecrated bread and wine during religious services or to take Holy Communion to the sick and homebound.”

He presented the summary of the documents of Vatican II, emphasized active participation by the laity, but reserved the distribution of the Eucharist to ordinary ordained ministers (priests and deacons).
