2025 Fifth Sunday of Easter – Love One Another

We can summarize the readings of today, 5th Sunday of Easter, into three words. Faith, Hope, and Love. Love, Hope, and Love.

The first reading from the Acts of the Apostles shows Paul and Barnabas is spreading the word, the Gospel, the Good News. The first reading reminds us of the importance of sharing our faith to others, spreading the Gospel, sharing the Good News. Paul and Barnabas also encouraged the early Christian community to remain true to their faith in Christ, despite the persecutions and the hardships they were experiencing.

This reminds us today to stay firm and strong in our own faith in Christ, no matter what we go through, what we experience in life, hardships, difficulties. The second reading is about hope. The book of Revelation speaks about a new heaven and a new hope.
