Fear No One

Ano nga ba ang ating kinakatakutan ang pangambalang walang batayan? Kapag ang takot ay walang batayan, that will paralyze you for no reason at all. Fear can paralyze us and keep us away from trusting God. Hayaan mong palayaiin ka ng Diyos sa takot na walang batayan.

This is also the message of our first reading today. Many of Jeremiah’s friends and companions were making him afraid and terrorizing him so that he could not continue his mission. They knew that this person would surrender his fear, he would not continue with his mission.

But Jeremiah would say that those fears were only made up by you. They are unfounded fears. I would put myself not in fear, but God alone.

Let God free us from those unfounded fears.
