2026 Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion – Letting Go
I was tempted not to give any more homily because of the length of the Gospel, then there was the blessing of the plams and the procession, and there is another activity after the Mass, the Pabasa, which is even longer, longer than the mass and the procession, the blessing of the psalms combined. But knowing the importance of this day and the coming days, it would be irresponsible on my part as your priest if I will not say something about the meaning of the climax to lent, and about the celebration of the Paschal Mystery, the high point of our liturgical year.
The theme of this day and the coming days is very clear.
Let me offer three reflections that we can focus on our own meditation in the coming days of Holy Week. First, the meaning and picture of God’s love for us. Second, the logic of God’s ways and purposes. And third, the meaning of salvation.
