2025 Advent Recollection

An Advent recollection is a short spiritual retreat—typically lasting a few hours, half a day, or an evening—held during the Advent season.

The term comes from the idea of “re-collecting” oneself. In the midst of the holiday rush, it is a deliberate pause designed to gather your scattered thoughts, quiet your heart, and refocus your attention on the spiritual significance of Christmas.

This advent Father Francis will be our speaker to talk about “Meditation on the Last Four Things- Death, Judgement, Heaven and Hell and it will be held of the 14th of December at St Ignatius Church Hall.

The program will start from 15:30 with a advent song led by the Missionary Families of Christ then the lighting of the Advent wreath. After the meditation and talk from Fr. Francis, it will end with group singing “Pananabik,” sharing, and reflection questions.
