Visita Iglesia 2025

Visita Iglesia is a Filipino Catholic tradition of visiting and praying in at least seven different churches during Holy Week, particularly on Maundy Thursday. It is a symbolic journey of faith, reflecting on the Stations of the Cross and Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. It provides an opportunity for personal reflection, prayer, and seeking forgiveness.
VisitaIt is often done with family and friends, community groups, strengthening bonds and passing down traditions.

This lenten season the Filipino Catholic Communities in the Diocese of Limburg invites you to join their journey to visit the area of Cologne, Germany on 29. March 2025. The participants will meet at 6:00 in the morning at the Alte Oper bus station and will be back to Frankfurt at 17:00 from Cologne.
