2024,14th Sunday in the Ordinary Time – PRiDE

Another reason why a person rejects God is, I think, pride. Pride. And we can learn this from the many saints of the Church. St. John Crisostom said, the Bible from the Old Testament to the New Testament tells us – Pride is the root of all sins and sorrows, and humility is the mother of all goodness. What does pride mean? Pride is the desire to lift up and exalt ourselves beyond our place as God’s creature, according to C.S. Lewis.
