Palm Sunday Reflection: Isang Linggong Pagibig?
“The Song (Isang Linggong Pagibig) is about how love between lovers can deteriorate into resentment and aleination. In today’s Gospel tell us that this can also happen in our relationship with God. On Palm Sunday, Jesus went to Jes and many people greeted him with a warm welcome and praise and even love. They were shouting “Hosanna” waving their palms and twigs because they saw, they considered his presence and the fulfilment of the old testament promises because of his healings, because of his mirales, and because of his message of hope. They were so inspired. However, a few days after Palm Sunday, the same crowd, the same group of people that welcomed Jesus, will condemn him and shout “Crucify Him”. Their love suddenly turned into hatred and resentment. And that is still true today.” – Father Francis
